Paul Kampner is President of TMark Associates, a retirement services consulting firm he founded 1995. Mr. Kampner has been actively involved in the employee benefits business for over 40 years. During that period, he served in a variety of senior management positions at four banks: Continental, Chase, MidLantic and LaSalle Trust Company (an ABN AMRO organization). He also worked for two asset-management consulting firms.

Over the years, Mr. Kampner has worked on various industry matters, including those involving legal issues, administration, operations, sales and marketing and general management. He has created an employee recordkeeping capability, a bundled 401(k) program and developed and run two proprietary mutual fund complexes.

In addition to work in this arena, in 1996 TMark organized 19 of the largest banks in the country into a consortium dedicated to improving their 401(k) operations.

Mr. Kampner has written numerous articles for Trust & Estates, Bank Marketing Magazine, the ABA's Trust and Investment magazine, Pension & Investments and Defined Contribution News. He holds a BA from the University of Michigan, a JD from Northwestern University School of Law and is a graduate of the ABA's National Graduate Trust School.
